What is the Arab World
The “Arab World” is a very general geographical term that is defined differently by different groups of people. For our purposes, the Arab American Council of the Carolinas defines the Arab world as the countries and cultures stretching from Libya in the West, to Yemen in the South. This includes the entire Arabian Peninsula, Egypt and Libya.
The very broad regional definition encompasses dozens of unique cultures, religions and languages, and all are connected in some way through both history and current affairs.
